LEREDD H2 Pro Hydrogen Water Bottle
Orders placed by 2pm AEST ship the same day from Melbourne. Most Australian orders arrive in 1 to 5 business days; international orders take a little longer.
The LEREDD H2 Pro is a portable hydrogen water bottle that turns ordinary drinking water into fresh, hydrogen-rich water in 5 or 10 minutes. It uses a true dual-chamber SPE/PEM electrolysis cell, so the oxygen, ozone and chlorine created during electrolysis are vented out of the bottle instead of being left in the water you drink. Designed for daily use at home, at work, at the gym or on the road, and supported by an Australian team in Melbourne.
- Dual-chamber SPE/PEM technology: a Nafion™ N117 proton exchange membrane separates hydrogen from oxygen and other by-gases
- Two strength settings: 5-minute standard mode (rated up to 4,000 ppb) and 10-minute supersaturation mode (rated up to 8,000 ppb)
- Pressurised generation: 0.6 to 0.8 MPa working pressure (1 MPa design rating) pushes more hydrogen into solution
- Platinum-plated electrodes: vacuum ion-plated platinum for efficient, corrosion-resistant electrolysis
- BPA-free Tritan™ bottle: clear, tough and taste-neutral, with a leak-resistant screw lid
- Capacity: 280-330ml
- USB-C rechargeable: 1600 mAh battery, around 7 to 13 cycles per charge
- One-button control: no apps, no settings menus
How the H2 Pro makes hydrogen water
Inside the base is a small electrolysis cell. When you press the button, a low voltage current splits a tiny amount of water into two gases: hydrogen (H2) at one electrode and oxygen at the other. A thin solid polymer membrane sits between them. Hydrogen passes up into your drinking water, while oxygen and trace by-products such as ozone and chlorine are directed to a separate lower chamber and released through the air vent.
This is the key difference between an SPE/PEM hydrogen water bottle and a basic single-chamber ioniser. In a single-chamber design both gases form in the same water, so by-products can end up in your drink. The H2 Pro keeps them apart.
Hydrogen water is not the same as alkaline water. The H2 Pro adds dissolved molecular hydrogen without meaningfully changing the pH or mineral content of your water.
Two modes, one button
| Mode | Cycle time | Rated H2 concentration | How to start |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | 5 minutes | Up to 4,000 ppb (4.0 ppm) | Press the button once |
| Supersaturation | 10 minutes | Up to 8,000 ppb (8.0 ppm) | Press again during a cycle |
| Stop | Any time | n/a | Press and hold for 3 seconds |
What "8,000 ppb" actually means
Hydrogen concentration is measured in parts per billion (ppb) or parts per million (ppm). 1,000 ppb equals 1 ppm, which is roughly 1 mg of hydrogen per litre of water.
At normal atmospheric pressure and room temperature, water can only hold about 1.6 ppm (1,600 ppb) of hydrogen. Levels above this are only possible under pressure, which is why the H2 Pro builds pressure inside the sealed bottle during a cycle. The 8,000 ppb figure is the manufacturer's rated peak inside the sealed, pressurised bottle at the end of a 10-minute cycle.
As soon as you open the lid, the extra hydrogen begins to escape, much like the fizz leaving a bottle of sparkling water. That is simply physics, and it applies to every hydrogen water bottle on the market. For the most hydrogen in each sip:
- Keep the lid closed until you are ready to drink
- Drink within a few minutes of opening
- Use cool water, which holds dissolved gas better than warm water
- Make a fresh batch each time rather than storing hydrogen water for later
What the research says
Interest in molecular hydrogen grew after a 2007 study in Nature Medicine (Ohsawa et al.) reported that hydrogen gas selectively reacted with two of the most reactive oxygen species, the hydroxyl radical and peroxynitrite, in cell and animal models. Because H2 is the smallest molecule, it diffuses readily through tissues and cell membranes.
Since then, a large body of laboratory research and a growing number of small human studies have explored hydrogen-rich water in areas such as exercise and general wellbeing. The human evidence is still early: most trials are small and short, and results vary. We think it is worth being honest about that. Many people simply enjoy hydrogen water as a fresh-tasting way to drink more water every day.
Designed for everyday life
Take it anywhere
A slim, lightweight build fits most car cup holders and gym bags. Charge it by USB-C and enjoy around 7 to 13 cycles per charge, depending on the mode you use most.
Materials you can trust
The bottle is made from BPA-free Tritan™ copolyester, a clear, shatter-resistant material widely used for premium drink bottles. The electrode is platinum-plated to resist corrosion, so no metals dissolve into your water.
Works with the water you already have
Use bottled still water, filtered water from a household purifier, or cooled boiled water. Water should be below 60°C. Do not use juice, tea, coffee, sports drinks or any other liquid, as these can damage the electrolysis cell.

Frequently asked questions
How long does hydrogen stay in the water?
Hydrogen is a very small, light gas and escapes quickly once the lid is opened. Concentration drops noticeably within minutes in an open bottle, so we recommend drinking straight after a cycle and making a fresh batch each time.
What is the difference between SPE/PEM and a regular hydrogen bottle?
SPE/PEM bottles use a solid proton exchange membrane and two separate chambers. Hydrogen goes into your drinking water, while oxygen, ozone and chlorine are vented away. Basic single-chamber bottles produce all gases in the same water.
Can I use Australian tap water?
You can use any water that meets Australian drinking water standards. Filtered or bottled still water gives the most consistent results and reduces mineral build-up, especially in hard water areas. Never use juice, tea, coffee or flavoured drinks.
Is hydrogen water the same as alkaline water?
No. Alkaline water has a higher pH. Hydrogen water contains dissolved molecular hydrogen gas. The H2 Pro adds hydrogen without meaningfully changing pH.
Is hydrogen water safe to drink every day?
Molecular hydrogen is colourless, odourless and tasteless, and your gut bacteria naturally produce it every day. Hydrogen gas for use in drinks has "generally recognised as safe" (GRAS) status with the US FDA. As with any new routine, check with your healthcare professional if you have a medical condition.
What warranty and support do I get?
Every H2 Pro is covered by the LEREDD warranty and your rights under Australian Consumer Law. If something goes wrong, you deal directly with our team in Melbourne, with no overseas returns.
Can I run the 10-minute mode twice in a row?
Please do not. Back-to-back supersaturation cycles can build enough pressure to make the lid hard to open. If this happens, let the bottle stand until the pressure settles. If it still will not open, contact our team rather than forcing it.
Why are there white particles in my water?
These are natural minerals from your water (scale), not flakes from the bottle. Descale with warm citric acid or white vinegar as described in the care instructions.
What charger should I use?
Use the supplied cable with a standard 5V, 1A to 2A USB adapter. Avoid super-fast chargers of 4A or more, which can shorten battery life over time.
Can I verify the hydrogen level myself?
Yes. Methylene blue hydrogen test reagents are an affordable way to estimate dissolved hydrogen at home. Test immediately after a cycle, as levels begin to fall once the lid is opened.
The LEREDD H2 Pro Hydrogen Water Bottle is a general wellness product. It is not a therapeutic good and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Hydrogen concentration figures are manufacturer ratings measured inside the sealed bottle at the end of a cycle; actual levels vary with water type, temperature and time after opening. If you have a medical condition, speak with your healthcare professional.
