Dome 960 Light Therapy Dome
The Dome 960 is Leredd's most feature-rich light therapy device and one of the most advanced on the market. With four clinically relevant wavelengths, 960 LED chips, and a flexible design built for both facial and full-body treatments, it delivers more coverage, more versatility, and more value than comparable devices sold at several times the price.
Why the Dome 960 stands out
- Four wavelengths: Green, Red, Blue, and Near Infrared (NIR) — covering a broader range of therapeutic applications than most devices offer
- 960 LED chips for complete, even coverage across the entire treatment area
- Pure wavelengths throughout — NIR LEDs are distributed evenly across every diode, not just placed at the ends as some brands do
- Constant wave (no flicker) mode plus pulsed light settings for flexible session customisation
- Medical-grade silicone cover included for added comfort and easy cleaning between uses
- Recessed LEDs embedded at consistent intervals so the device never presses uncomfortably against your skin
- Two weighted bases included to hold the Dome securely in place during facial treatments
- Adjustable black belts for hands-free full-body use
A note on wavelength quality
Not all light therapy devices are equal. Pure Green wavelength therapy should fall between 500nm and 570nm to deliver genuine therapeutic effect. Some products achieve a "green" appearance by mixing Blue and Yellow LEDs, which produce different biological outcomes and are not equivalent. Similarly, some devices list NIR but place only a small number of NIR chips at the edges of the panel rather than throughout. At Leredd, we use pure, dedicated LED colours at the correct nanometre ranges — and we always disclose the quantities. If a supplier does not clearly state their LED count or wavelength specifications, it is worth asking why.
How it compares
Devices such as Celluma and Dermalux are popular and well-marketed, but retail between $2,500 and $5,000. The Dome 960 offers more wavelengths, a higher LED count, and greater versatility at a fraction of the price, making it an exceptional addition to any home wellness or clinical setting.
What it can help with
The Dome 960 is designed to assist with a wide range of conditions and treatment goals, including:
- Depression and seasonal affective disorder (SAD)
- Acne, psoriasis, eczema, and skin lesions
- Bruises, wounds, and abrasions
- Pain relief in targeted areas
- Hair and scalp treatment via NIR wavelength
- Transcranial application using NIR light
- General skin health, collagen support, and cellular repair
Facial and full-body use
The Dome 960 is built for both facial and full-body treatments. The two included weighted bases hold it securely in place during facial sessions. When treating the body, simply attach the adjustable black belts and position the device anywhere you need it. The flexible structure moulds to your shape, and the medical-grade silicone cover adds a layer of comfort while keeping the device hygienic and easy to wipe down.
Controller
The wireless controller is rechargeable and simple to operate. Charge it, select your mode and session time, and you are ready to go. Both constant wave and pulsed light modes are available.

TREATMENT PROTOCOL
How to Use the Dome 720
Follow this protocol for consistent results. Consistency is the most important factor in photobiomodulation outcomes.
Step 01
Position the Device
Set up the panel or device at the recommended distance from your skin. For panels, 15–30cm is the standard starting distance. For wraps and boots, apply directly to the skin.
Step 02
Set Your Session Length
10–20 minutes per area is the standard starting protocol. Build up gradually if you are new to red light therapy. Follow the guide included with your device.
Step 03
Daily Consistency
Once daily is the recommended baseline for most photobiomodulation protocols. Consistent daily treatment produces cumulative results over 4–12 weeks. Irregular use significantly extends the timeline.

THE SCIENCE
360-Degree Red Light Therapy: What the Dome Format Changes
Conventional red light therapy panels deliver light from one direction. The Dome 720 surrounds the body — delivering 660nm and 850nm from all sides simultaneously. This changes the total dose and surface area treated in every session.
660nm
660nm Deep Red: Skin Health from Every Angle
660nm red light for collagen stimulation, anti-inflammatory skin response and surface tissue repair — delivered 360 degrees around the body. Every part of your skin surface receives the therapeutic dose simultaneously, without needing to rotate or reposition.
850nm
850nm Near-Infrared: Deep Recovery from All Directions
850nm near-infrared penetrates into muscle and joint tissue. Delivered from 360 degrees, it reaches the sides and back of the body that conventional front-facing panels miss without repositioning — providing comprehensive deep tissue stimulation in a single session.
DOME FORMAT
Why 360-Degree Exposure Matters
A panel treats what it faces. The back of your legs, your sides, and posterior chain require either repositioning or a separate device. The Dome 720 eliminates this — every surface receives the same dose in the same session. For full-body recovery, skin health across the entire body surface, or clinic use, the dome format provides coverage that no flat panel can match without multiple repositioning steps.
DOME 720 QUESTIONS
Frequently Asked Questions
Full-body red and near-infrared light therapy from 360 degrees — skin health, recovery and deep tissue support in a single enclosed session.
The Dome 720 uses 660nm Deep Red and 850nm Near-Infrared delivered from all directions simultaneously.
For most red light therapy devices, sessions of 10 to 20 minutes per treatment area are the recommended starting point. The right session length depends on the device's irradiance, your distance from the device, and your treatment goal. Follow the protocol guide included with your device, and build up session time gradually if you are new to red light therapy.
Yes. Red and near-infrared light therapy at therapeutic wavelengths (600–1000nm) is non-ionising, produces no UV radiation, and carries no thermal damage risk at the power levels used in consumer devices. It is safe for daily use for most adults. Consult a healthcare provider before use if you have a light-sensitive condition, are on photosensitising medications, are pregnant, or have active cancer in the treatment area.
Yes. All Leredd products ship from our Melbourne facility. Orders placed before 2pm AEST typically ship the same day. Leredd is an Australian-owned company with a physical showroom in Bentleigh, VIC — you can visit us, see the devices in person, and get protocol advice before purchasing.
The Dome 720 carries a 5-year warranty on internal components. All Leredd devices are supported by our Melbourne-based team for warranty claims, setup assistance and protocol questions. See our Warranty page for full terms.

Multiple Light Modes
So important to have flexibility of light treatment colour wavelength modes as your skin will require different colours of wavelength over its lifetime and that is why it is critical to have a diverse range of colours for ongoing treatments and flexibility. We do not compromise by mixing 2 colours to achieve a specific colour, like mixing blue and yellow to make green like many products on the market. It is totally misleading in doing so because the wavelength will not be accurate - we use dedicated wavelengths for each colour to ensure your treatment is backed by the scientific clinical studies that support the wavelengths. You also have the option to add 2 wavelengths of NIR for each colour mode which is pre-programmed within the controller. Happy days !
Flexible but firm to hold shape - luxury construction
This has been developed to be the perfect mix to hold shape yet be flexible enough to contour your body when required. Incorporating a medical grade silicone led cover plate for easy care and total comfort if applied directly to skin. It can also be used without the base and easily be wrapped around your torso, shoulders or whatever area you wish to treat, making it one of the most versatile products in the Leredd Range.
Facial Treatment Holy Grail
The Dome 720 is an all-around flexible light therapy wrap that excels at facial treatment. We have designed two solid base stands with rubber under-grip that act as a sturdy base for the wrap once attached. This will allow you or your clients to comfortably lie down and relax whilst undergoing a facial treatment. And did we mention it is totally odour free - vital for comfort ; health and relaxation ?
